Our services are offered in-person in Tallahassee and Weston, and via tele-health throughout Florida.

Our clinicians work with children, adolescents, and adults.

Please visit the About Us page for specific information.

Individual Therapy

An intake appointment is your initial session when seeking psychological services. An intake appointment allows us to begin establishing a therapeutic relationship, discuss limits of confidentiality, and allows to ascertain a comprehensive history of your concerns, personal history, current needs, and provide you with a recommendation for services that would best meet your needs. Each intake session is scheduled for one hour.

Individual therapy sessions are scheduled after an intake is completed and are typically set for one hour. Your individual clinical needs and life circumstances typically determine how often sessions are  scheduled.

Group Therapy

Group psychotherapy is a form of therapy in which a small number of people meet together under the guidance of a professionally trained therapist to help themselves and one another. The therapy has been widely used and has been a standard treatment option for many years. It is also a more affordable form of therapy and a good opinion if you are looking for long-term support or maintenance of progress after having ended therapy.

It provides a place where you come together with others to share problems or concerns, to better understand your own situation, and to learn from and with each other.

Group therapy helps people learn about themselves and improve their interpersonal relationships and it helps people make significant changes so they feel better about the quality of their lives.

Psychological Assessment

We provide psychological assessment services related to the following concerns:

- Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

- Learning disability

- Intellectual functioning

- Co-occurring depression and anxiety, and other mood-related symptoms

- Assessment of personality

For all assessments, we consider differential diagnoses and provide a written report that includes recommendations which can be helpful with potential school placements, academic or employment accommodations, and receiving psychiatric or other mental health care. Assessment can also help you gain understanding of yourself and any difficulties you may be experiencing, and for parents of adolescents it can clarify ways to work with your teen to maximize success.

The assessment process typically consist of an intake appointment where we will gather information on the current concerns and decide what type of testing is needed, discuss a plan for the administration of the assessment followed by the testing session(s), and meeting for a feedback session.

Depending on your needs, testing can be divided into multiple sessions.

Please reach out via our contact form with questions.

Supervision

Dr.Hodorek provides clinical supervision to clinicians with a doctoral degree in counseling or clinical psychology seeking licensure as a psychologist in the state of FL.

Her approach to clinical supervision focuses on a higher-order integration of the personal self and professional self, emphasizes self-assessment, professional identity, and use of self in therapy.  Because understanding the cultural context of behavior is critical to competent and ethical therapy, her approach to supervision focuses on helping the therapist understand and be aware of their and their clients’ identities and how they influence the therapy process. She views the development of competency and a therapist's professional development as an on-going process. Her role as a supervisor is an integration of the teacher, counselor, or consultant based on the needs of the person she is supervising. If you are mental health professional seeking clinical supervision please reach out.
